Newcastle Quayside Sunday Market

Takes place every Sunday in the year from 9.00am - 4.00pm. Please come along and visit my stall, weather permitting.

The Quayside Sunday Market has a long history with the area becoming a great tourist attraction. Many historic buildings and warehouses have been being beautifully restored and stand alongside many new and innovative buildings, hotels and restaurants. These include Bessie Surtees' House (managed by English Heritage), The Guildhall, which is now a local Tourist Information Centre, and many of the town's historic landmarks - such as The Keep, St Nicholas's Cathedral, the Black Gate and parts of the Town Wall as well as the Baltic and Millenium Bridge. All are within a short (if steep!) walking distance.

Girls night in, night out

The Stadium of Light, Sunderland - 28th April 2010

The aim off this event is where women of all ages can buy gifts, try out new products and generally have a "girly" night in aid of charity.

The bar will be divided into zones - shopping zone where they can buy products, beauty zone to try out therapies, make up (and again make purchases), Psychics zone with the chance to get your fortune told, or tarot card and palm readings. Also with a range of other exciting events planned throughout the night.
